We highly recommend you use the AppImage version for debian based linux. It will work out of the box and give you access to the automatic in-app updates we push:
chmod +X prelude-operator-0.9.24-appImage ./prelude-operator-0.9.24-appImage
From the root directory of the Prelude Operator folder, you need to run these commands:
unzip Operator-0.9.24.zip && cd Operator-0.9.24/ sudo chown root ./chrome-sandbox sudo chmod 4755 ./chrome-sandbox ./Operator
If you encounter an error related to libappindicator3-1, run these commands then retry the installation:
sudo apt-get install libappindicator3-1 sudo apt --fix-broken install
Operator is also available via HomeBrew with:
brew install --cask operator
